Privacy policy
Last updated 5 November 2026.
Tarot Sky is made by The Open Apps, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("we", "us"), 1111B South Governors Ave, Dover, DE 19904, United States. This policy covers the Tarot Sky plugin in ChatGPT, the Tarot Sky connector in Claude and Grok, and the website tarotsky.ambientapp.ai. It explains what we receive, why, who else receives it, how long it is kept and what you can do about it. Questions: support@theopenapps.com.
The short version
- Tarot Sky has no accounts and stores nothing you send it. Each request is answered and dropped.
- Your birth date, time and place are used for one calculation and never saved.
- We count anonymous usage (which tool ran, how long it took, whether it failed), never what you sent.
- No ads, no selling or sharing of data, no profiles, no cookies.
What Tarot Sky receives
When your assistant calls Tarot Sky, it sends only what the tool needs:
- the spread and the cards you drew, and your question if you asked one;
- a date, and the deck look you picked;
- if you shared them: your birth date, birth time (optional), birth place, and its coordinates and time zone, which your assistant works out from the place.
Tarot Sky never receives the rest of your conversation, your name, email address or account with the assistant, and no user or conversation ID.
Birth details are personal data. We use them only to calculate the chart, transits or reading you asked for (to provide the service you request), then discard them with the request.
What is kept, and for how long
| What | Why | Kept |
|---|---|---|
| Nothing you send: no birth details, cards, questions or readings | Tarot Sky computes and answers; it has no database | Not stored |
| Usage events: the tool name, the AI app that called it and its version, the names of the fields sent (not their values), how long it took and whether it failed, under a random ID that lasts one request. Never arguments, results or error text | To keep the service working and see which tools are used (our legitimate interest) | 12 months, at PostHog (United States) |
| Request logs kept by our host, Cloudflare: time, address requested, IP address and connection details. Not the content of requests | Security and reliability (our legitimate interest) | Up to 7 days for the Worker's logs; Cloudflare's own security logs follow its policy |
| Website visits: pages viewed, approximate country and city, browser type, page errors, and whether the copy button for the connector address was pressed. No click tracking, session recording, cookies or browser storage; the IP address is used for the country and city estimate and then discarded | To count visits and fix the site (our legitimate interest) | 12 months, at PostHog (United States) |
| Support email: your address and message | To answer you | As long as needed to answer, then up to 12 months |
We don't sell or share personal data, show ads, build profiles or use what you send to train AI models.
Your assistant and the widget
Your AI assistant (OpenAI's ChatGPT, Anthropic's Claude, xAI's Grok or another app) handles your conversation under its own privacy policy. If you share birth details in a chat, the assistant keeps them in that conversation, and may keep them in its memory, under your settings there.
The birth-chart form in the Tarot Sky widget sends what you type into the chat as your own message, so it is kept in your conversation like anything else you type. Tarot Sky itself keeps nothing.
Who receives data
- Your AI app receives the results it asked for.
- Cloudflare hosts Tarot Sky and keeps the request logs above.
- PostHog receives the anonymous usage and visit events above.
Cloudflare and PostHog process data in the United States. Where data from the EU, UK or Türkiye goes to the United States, it is covered by the providers' standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR or Türkiye's KVKK), you can ask us for access to, correction or deletion of personal data we hold about you, object to our use of it, or complain to your data protection authority. Because Tarot Sky stores nothing you send and no IDs, there is usually nothing to look up; write to support@theopenapps.com and we will answer. The Open Apps, Inc. is the controller of this data.
Children
Tarot Sky is for people 13 and older. In Claude and Grok, which are for adults, you need to be 18 or older. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes and the new version applies from then.
